Start your Finger Lakes getaway at Juniper Hill BnB…Where memories are made.

Once you arrive at Juniper Hill, you may want to arrange a wine tasting tour, dinner reservations, theatre, spa treatments, or whatever sparks your interest that Trumansburg, Ithaca and nearby areas have to offer.

Within the heart of Trumansburg, Juniper Hill BnB is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street (also known as Route 96). Around the corner is the infamous Rongovian Embassy. For those who enjoy bowling, The Atlas Bowling Alley and Restaurant beckons your visit. The Trumansburg Golf Course is less than half a mile down the street. A sidewalk stroll leads you to The Ulysses Philomathic Library. Further down you’ll find The Trumansburg Fairgrounds, home to The Grassroots Festival and The Trumansburg Fair, both occurring annually in July and August, respectively.

In addition, every Wednesday afternoon from May to through October, local produce and crafts are available at the nearby Trumansburg Farmers Market.

Nearby is Ithaca, home to Cornell University and Ithaca State College. Discover easy access to fine dining, shopping, museums, music, theater, hiking, boating, breathtaking waterfalls and gorges. We are within minutes of Cayuga and Seneca Lakes and their wine trails. Overlooking Seneca Lake are some of the finest dining establishments.

Day trips can bring you to several places. Just a short drive away is Watkins Glen, offering varied restaurants for your dining pleasure, shops, music, theatre, etc. and is home to the well known Watkins Glen Raceway. In less than an hour, a wonderful day of history, gardens, shops, wining and dining, antiques and more can be found in Canandaigua, where you’ll find Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park and the New York Wine and Culinary Center. 45 minutes by car finds you at Mackenzie-Child’s, Wells College or The Aurora Inn, all located in Aurora, NY. Within the Finger Lakes are many Cheese Trail members, found at various Farmers Markets and along both the Cheese and Wine Trails.

During winter, enjoy the local Tru-Ulysses Winter Fest and The Downtown Ithaca Ice Festival. There’s great downhill skiing just 30 miles from Trumansburg and 18 miles from Ithaca, at Greek Peak Ski Resort in Cortland, NY.
